1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SmartKnock ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
SmartKnock is a campaign canvassing platform that provides door-to-door routing, visit tracking, and voter outreach management tools. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.
3. Accounts and Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Subscription and Payment
Paid features require a subscription. Pricing is based on the number of doors (addresses) and user licenses in your plan. You agree to pay all applicable fees. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate election laws
- Attempt to access data outside your assigned precincts or campaigns
- Share login credentials or exceed your licensed user count
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or redistribute voter data obtained through the Service
- Use the Service to harass, intimidate, or suppress voter participation
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Voter data accessed through SmartKnock is sourced from publicly available records and is subject to applicable state and federal regulations.
7. Intellectual Property
SmartKnock and its contents are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Campaign data you create (visit logs, notes, survey responses) remains yours.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, access to paid features ends at the current billing period's conclusion.
9. Limitation of Liability
SmartKnock is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
